In a previous newsletter we have already introduced you to the One2Born 3.0. Meanwhile, many of our customers have switched from the 2.0 to the 3.0 version and we have gained a lot of new customers. We have received a very good amount of feedback from all of them. The experiences remain very positive!
Hatcheries as well as poultry farmers who were already using our One2Born hatchholders have since switched to the One2Born 3.0 hatchholders. We have also received many new customers, who also use the One2Born 3.0 version. The feedback we receive is mainly linked to the fact that new sizing meets the automation of the hatchery perfectly. On the One2Born 2.0 only forty eggs would fit on one tray. The One2Born 3.0 hatchholder consists of five rows of ten spaces, so that fifty eggs fit and a setter tray can be transferred in just three times. Because 25 percent more eggs fit on a tray, it also saves 25 percent of work for the hatchery and poultry farmer during loading and unloading.
In the barn, the functionality of the One2Born 2.0 and 3.0 is unchanged and receives permanent positive feedback. The eggs are placed in the barn on the hatchholders, where the chicks subsequently come out. Once they have come out, the chicks will play with the trays in the barn and eventually the material dissolves. The trays are made of 100 percent sterile paper pulp and can be completely composted in the barn. So far all of our customers experience this as a very well-working process.
