The containers are easy to place in the houses. The chicks can hatch at their own pace and are stress free. They hatch in their eventual living environment, which makes for a better transition.
Benefits
- Easy to place in the houses
- Natural hatching is optimally facilitated
- The chicks can’t injure themselves on the container
Hatching
Process
The chicks hatch, after which they immediately have feed and water at their disposal. Combined with the improved conditions of their transportation, this is of great benefit to their overall health.
Benefits
- Early access to feed and water
- Healthier, more robust chicks
- Natural hatching of the chicks can take place safely
Distraction material
Process
After hatching the hatchholder serves as a natural nest and distraction. It offers the chicks a chance to seperate themselves from the group as well as an opportunity to play with the egg shells and the hatchholder itself. The container is fully biodegradable because of the pulp material.
Benefits
- Composts in the stable and serves as play material
- Container serves as a natural nest and distraction
- Biosecurity guaranteed & prevents cross-contamination
What does the use of the hatchholder yield?
Our hatchholder is simple to use, but that in and of itself isn’t valuable. Results of our clients prove that the One2Born hatchholder delivers positive results for all parties in the production chain. The welfare of the chicks and the efficiency are improved, and the sustainability of the poultry sector as a whole is increased.
